ABH Healthcare Company Overview
ABH Healthcare Limited operates healthcare services under the Anil Baghi Hospital brand in Ferozepur, Punjab. The company was incorporated in 2021 and subsequently acquired the hospital business that had historically operated under the Anil Baghi Hospital name. The hospital is a 150-bed multi-specialty tertiary-care facility providing services across approximately 25 medical specialties. Its clinical areas include cardiac sciences, neurology, minimally invasive spine and brain surgery, gastroenterology, laparoscopic and bariatric surgery, urology, pulmonology, nephrology, ENT and other specialties. The hospital serves patients in and around Ferozepur and is positioned primarily toward healthcare demand in a Tier-3 market. IPOWEB VERDICT Fundamentals: ⭐⭐⭐½ / 5 Financial Growth: ⭐⭐⭐½ / 5 Debt Position: ⭐⭐ / 5 Valuation: ⭐⭐⭐ / 5 GMP Momentum: ⭐⭐ / 5 Overall: NEUTRAL / WATCH SUBSCRIPTION Strong profitability and QIB interest are positives, while high debt, single-hospital concentration, slowing revenue growth and ₹0 GMP are the main watch points.
ABH Healthcare Business Model
The company's revenue is generated primarily through hospital healthcare services, including inpatient and outpatient treatment, surgeries, diagnostics, critical care and specialty medical procedures. Its business model depends on hospital bed utilisation, patient volumes, average revenue per occupied bed, specialty mix, doctor availability, procedure volumes and relationships with insurance companies/government healthcare schemes. A key feature — and also a risk — is that operations remain concentrated in a single hospital in Ferozepur. Therefore the company does not yet have the geographical diversification of larger listed hospital chains.
ABH Healthcare Objects of the Issue
IPO proceeds are proposed to be used principally for: 1. ₹17 Cr: repayment/prepayment of certain borrowings. 2. ₹5 Cr: working-capital requirements. Remaining proceeds: inorganic growth/unidentified acquisitions and general corporate purposes.
ABH Healthcare Strengths
ABH Healthcare has shown a significant improvement in profitability over FY24–FY26. PAT increased from ₹1.66 crore to ₹5.64 crore, while EBITDA improved from ₹6.89 crore to ₹14.72 crore. The FY26 EBITDA margin of about 28.03% demonstrates materially better operating profitability compared with FY24. The hospital provides multiple specialties rather than relying on a single treatment segment, giving it a diversified clinical-service mix. Its doctor-led management, established Anil Baghi Hospital operating brand and presence in a smaller regional market may also support patient relationships and local brand recognition. The IPO is completely a fresh issue, meaning proceeds flow to the company rather than existing shareholders exiting through an OFS. Importantly, ₹17 crore is intended for debt repayment/prepayment, which could materially improve the company's leverage after the IPO if deployed as proposed.
ABH Healthcare Risks
The most important financial risk is high leverage. Despite improvement, FY26 debt/equity remains approximately 3.20x, and total borrowings increased to about ₹45.75 crore. This exposes the business to financing costs and makes successful debt reduction from IPO proceeds particularly important. The company also has single-hospital concentration risk because a substantial portion of its operations comes from one facility in Ferozepur. Any regional disruption, regulatory issue, deterioration in doctor availability, local competition or operational interruption could therefore have a disproportionate impact. Healthcare operations also involve regulatory, medico-legal and clinical risks. The company depends heavily on qualified doctors and other healthcare professionals, must continuously invest in medical technology, and operates its hospital premises on a leasehold basis rather than owning the propert IPOWEB RISK RATING Revenue Growth: 🟡 MODERATE PAT Growth: 🟡 MODERATE Debt Risk: 🔴 HIGH Valuation: 🟡 FAIR TO FULLY PRICED Business Risk: 🟠 MODERATE-HIGH
